Current administration visa ban impacts COVID recovery

Due to current administration's decision to bar H1-B visa, high skilled immigrant are not allowed to enter the country, This visa category is used by immigrants for medical residency in United States. The ruling had an exempt for individual providing care for COVID-19, however due to lack of clear guidance on interpretation of the ruling, the execution on consulate has been inconsistent.

This has created shortage of doctors and staffing crisis for hospitals relying on this workforce in the time of crisis to manage this pandemic.
