Courts rules administration can do fast track deportations

Tuesday June 23 the Washington D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Trump Administration can do fast track deportations and overturned a preliminary injunction against the Department of Homeland Security’s new rule that significantly expands undocumented immigrants who can be deported without being able to make their case to a judge or having an attorney. Before this ruling only undocumented immigrants who recently entered the USA and were picked up at the border could be put into expedited removal. The new rule expands it to anywhere in the country and for immigrants who have been in the USA for long periods of time.
