This past Thursday November 8, 2018 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit agreed with a federal district judge’s decision from January 2018 that President Trump lacked the authority to eliminate the DACA program. This decision leaves the DACA program in place. However currently new applications are not being accepted, and only renewal applications are being accepted the USCIS.
