US Department of Homeland Security issued a new temporary final rule that prohibits international students from returning to or remaining in the United States this fall if the colleges they attend adopt online only instruction models during the COVID-10 pandemic.
Many colleges including Harvard have announced they will reopen their campuses in the fall, but will conduct classes online. This move has created undue challenges for these students in this stressful times and not to mention logistical problems of managing current leases and figuring out lesson plan from different time zones.
Our office has been reached out by concerned clients who have been impacted with this ruling. If you or someone you know are affected with this change and have questions, contact our office.
