Trump weighs travel ban expansion in coming days

The Trump administration has added seven additional countries to its original travel ban order from three years ago. The list of countries for new restrictions include Belarus, Myanmar (also known as Burma), Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania. This ban might not necessarily completely ban all citizens of those countries from entering the United States. The restrictions could apply only to certain government officials or certain types of visas.

The original travel ban restricts entry of some citizens from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria , Yemen, Venezuela, and North Korea. Chad was removed from the original list.
